THE BALANCE
Engineered by algorithm. Validated by an F1 driver. Built for the track.
The GT3 was already a weapon. Porsche’s engineers have spent decades refining it. So when ADRO set out to develop an aero package for this platform, the team knew it would have to really spend time refining and optimizing.
The Technology
The ADRO ARD program for the Porsche 992.1 GT3 is the result of ADRO's proprietary Aerodynamic Optimization eXperience software (AOX), a computational system that uses advanced adjoint methods to automatically find the optimal aero geometry for a given set of objectives. In plain terms: the ADRO team tells the software to maximize downforce, what the balance needs to look like, and how far the geometry can physically move. It runs multiple CFD iterations and adjoint solver loops, incrementally moving the geometry until it finds the best possible answer. No guesswork. No design by eye. Pure optimization.
TRACK VALIDATION
Real World Validation
Before this kit reached production, the ADRO team went to Cadwell Park in the United Kingdom for track validation with Liam Lawson — current Formula 1 driver, and someone who understands aerodynamic balance at a level most people will never experience. The feedback from that session shaped the final calibration of the package. When an F1 driver signs off on how a car feels under aero load, you can trust what you’re investing in.
The Numbers
The AOX package delivers 2.3 times the downforce of a stock GT3 set to its high downforce track mode, with only a 0.28 increase in drag. On track, that translates directly into corner entry confidence, mid-corner stability, and the ability to carry much more speed through fast sweepers that would otherwise have you lifting. ADRO has seen mid-corner speeds jump by 20kph+ across corners higher than 130kph, generating a real reduction in lap times. The full system produces 2888N of downforce at 180kph — with a balance shift toward the rear (as requested by Liam and confirmed with multiple drivers on track since) that suits the GT3's natural weight distribution and mechanical grip characteristics. For serious track use, this is the configuration that unlocks the car’s true potential.
ADRO RACING DIVISION PROGRAM
Who This Is For
If you track your GT3 and you’re serious about lap times, this package will change what the car feels like at speed: more downforce means more grip, more grip means higher corner speeds, higher corner speeds results in better lap times. If you’re often at the track or want the ultimate GT3, the full AOX package in MAX configuration gives you a level of aerodynamic capability that simply doesn’t exist elsewhere in the market for this platform. This is what ADRO is all about. This is why ADRO developed the AOX software in-house. And this is what happens when F1 methodology meets the GT3. See you at the track!
